WILHELM-WAGENFELD-STRASSE GE2 OFFICE BUILDING WITH MANUFACTURING UNITS IN PARKSTADT SCHWABING
As an additional project in the Parkstadt Schwabing area of Munich, the GE2-Wilhelm-Wagenfeld-Strasse, an office building with units for manufacturing uses, is set to be completed in the extremely short construction time of 15 months. This modern building harbours extensive office space in its upper floors, and includes areas set aside for research, prototype assembly and presentation, and parking. The building’s main tenant is the international corporation ALPINE Electronics (Europe) GmbH.
The main access point is via Wilhelm-Wagenfeld-Strasse. In this area, the building has an impressive entrance hall complete with an exhibition space. Access to the second rental unit is via the east side of the building.
This property consists of a U-shaped building with four above-ground and two underground levels. The post-and-beam facade is broken up by vertical stone elements – the glazed surfaces, with their aluminium and glass elements, yield an offset, delicate structure. The facade has a high-class look in keeping with the character of the building. Completion was in November 2008.
